by Kimberly Evans (Author)
Not all scars are visible. William Hart returned from war a damaged and brutal man. Eleanor Abbott had been worn down by years of remorse. Between them, however, stood Millie, a precocious 10-year-old desperate to find a place to call home. The Bell, Unrung is the story of these three wounded souls and their quest for redemption and love.
Author Biography
Kimberly Evans grew up among the artifacts of earlier decades, spending summers in the cool dark rooms of her grandmother's 1863 farmhouse. As a child her diversions there were solid and simple-wooden blocks, corn husk dolls, and thirty-year-old fashion magazines. She made candles, dyed eggs with onion skins, and fed hay to the neighbor's horse through the rectangular holes in a wire fence. As an adult she studied history and economics at Smith College to better understand "why." As an ongoing occupation she is a nosy, eavesdropping, buttinski compelled to look inside the human heart and write some stories. Ms. Evans currently lives in Savannah, GA.
